Part Time Concierge Security Guard

Position Summary:

Regal Security Inc. is currently seeking a Part-Time Concierge Security Guard at our sites located in Barrie, ON. The ideal candidate will have open availability to work and cover last-minute open shifts across various days of the week and schedules that may include mornings, afternoons, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of Regal Security
• Act as Regal’s day-to-day point of contact for individual client and field staff inquiries
• Supervise contracted site to ensure security staff meet company standards in terms of uniforming, training, and site procedures
• Operate and maintain an organized environment
• Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain the security and safety of clients and their assets
• Ensure enforcement of Trespass to Property Act
• Safely operate and maintain company and client-issued equipment and supplies
• Respond to major incidents on property (fire, flood, medical issue, criminal activity) and assist security staff with managing the situation
• Complete emergency protocols in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies
• Conduct walking patrols and inspections of facilities and equipment as required
• Review, know, and follow post orders identified for the site
• Maintain a safe working environment by following facility health and safety procedures
• Keep detailed and thorough records using memo books, incident reports, etc.
• Demonstrate keen observation, attentiveness, decision-making, reliability, common sense, and exceptional judgment
• Perform duties as otherwise assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Demonstrated experience as a security guard or concierge
• Customer service-driven individual
• Clear English communication skills – verbal and written
• Keen attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
• Professional physical deportment and presentation
• Access to personal vehicle
• Open availability 24/7 including weekends and holidays

Preferred Certifications:

• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
• Valid WHMIS Certification

Education Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

Ontario Security Guard License, Access to Personal Vehicle

6 months - 2 years
