Hospital Security Guard – Tactical Site (North York)

Regal Security Inc. is seeking Full-Time Security Guards to join our team providing critical security services for a prominent hospital in North York. This is an excellent opportunity to use your security knowledge and experience in one of the most dynamic and vital environments in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison for the hospital by assisting patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the hospital property to ensure a safe and secure environment while enforcing property rules for all visitors and patients.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Work closely with hospital staff, emergency responders, and management to support sensitive hospital operations, including:
• Responding to code calls.
• Monitoring patients under the legal care of the hospital.
• Patient de-escalation and/or patient restraints.
• Providing secure access to restricted areas (such as the morgue) while maintaining professionalism, dignity, and respect.
• Managing other critical incidents.
• Respond to facility issues on the property, such as fire alarms, floods, and elevator entrapments.
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation.
• Perform citizen’s arrests as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Previous hospital or tactical security experience (preferred).
• Previous Use of Force experience and/or certification (considered a strong asset).
• Strong verbal and written communication and report-writing skills.
• Professionalism, dependability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Full-time availability for afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
