Concierge Security Guard

Regal Security Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Concierge Security Guard for our sites located in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Full-time availability to work all days of the week, including mornings, afternoons, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated experience as a security guard or concierge.
• A strong customer service-driven approach.
• Clear English communication skills in all areas (verbal and written).
• Detailed and thorough record-keeping capabilities (memo books, incident reports, etc.).
• Keen observation skills and high attentiveness.
• Professional physical deportment and presentation.
• Strong decision-making, reliability, common sense, and exceptional judgment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of Regal Security.
• Act as Regal's day-to-day point of contact for individual client and field staff inquiries.
• Operate and maintain an organized, safe environment.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and the Trespass to Property Act to maintain the security and safety of clients and their assets.
• Safely operate and maintain company- and client-issued equipment and supplies.
• Respond to major incidents on property (fire, flood, medical issues, criminal activity) and aid security staff in managing the situation.
• Ensure safety and emergency protocols are executed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Complete walking patrols and facility/equipment inspections as required.
• Review, understand, and follow post orders for the assigned site.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Valid WHMIS Certification.
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (preference given to candidates with post-secondary education in Criminal Justice or Business).
• Proficiency in computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, Gmail) with the ability to quickly learn new software.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $17.60 to $22.00 per hour, based on site requirements and applicant experience.
• Benefits: Health benefits available for full-time employees upon completion of the 3-month probationary period.
